The Free Trade Agreement between Türkiye and Ukraine was signed in Kyiv on 3 February 2022. The Agreement was approved by Türkiye following the Presidential Decision published on 4 October 2026. On the Ukrainian side, the approval process was completed with the approval of Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, on 31 July 2026.
The Agreement entered into force on 1 October 2026. However, in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement concerning the implementation of tariff concessions, customs duty reductions and eliminations set out in the respective tariff schedules for trade in goods will be applied as of 1 January 2027.
