In January 2024, compared with December 2023, industrial producer prices decreased by 0.9% in both the euro area and the EU, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In December 2023, prices fell by 0.9% in the euro area and by 0.8% in the EU. In January 2024, compared with January 2023, industrial producer prices decreased by 8.6% in the euro area and by 8.4% in the EU.
