According to April Global Economic Outlook Report, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected that the average growth of the global economy will decline from 3.4% in 2022 to 2.8% in 2023 and then increase slowly to 3.0% in 2024.The report emphasized that growth in advanced economies is expected to slow from 2.7% in 2022 to 1.3% in 2023. Although food and energy prices fell as central banks raised interest rates, core prices remained sticky in some economies and global headline inflation is expected to fall from 8.7% in 2022 to 7.0% in 2023 due to lower commodity prices.
