The gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 0.2% in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the first quarter of 2026 - following adjustment for price, seasonal and calendar variations - after already increasing at the start of 2026 (by a revised +0.4% in the first quarter of 2026 compared with the previous quarter; previously: +0.3%).

GDP in the second quarter of 2026 increased by a price adjusted 0.9% compared with the second quarter of 2025. After price and calendar adjustment, the increase also amounted to 0.9%, as the number of working days in the seconnd quarter 2026 was the same as in the same quarter a year earlier.
