In November 2024, the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) remained broadly stable in both the EU (+0.2 points to 96.5) and the euro area (+0.1 points to 95.8). 

The Employment Expectations Indicator (EEI), eased slightly in both areas (EU: -0.5 points to 99.6, euro area: -0.3 points to 98.9). The ESI remains a few points below its long-term average, while the EEI continued to score close to but below its long-term average.
