Inflation Peaks in United Kingdom

According to official data, inflation in the UK reached 9% annually in April, reaching the highest level in the last 40 years. In March, annual inflation was 7%.

While inflation in the UK continues its upward momentum, it continues to put pressure on the wages. According to the data released before the April inflation figures, according to the inflation-adjusted figures, average earnings excluding bonuses fell by 1.9% compared to the previous year and recorded as the biggest decrease since 2013.
