The ifo Business Climate Index rose to 88.4 points in June, up from 87.5 points in May.

In manufacturing, the business climate improved marginally. In the service sector, the index showed particularly strong improvement. In trade, the business climate improved. In construction, the upward trend in the business climate continued.
