In February 2025, the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) increased in both the EU (+1.1 points to 97.1) and the euro area (+1.0 points to 96.3).
The Employment Expectations Indicator (EEI) turned down in both areas (EU: -1.2 points to 98.1, euro area: -1.5 points to 97.0). Both indicators score below their long-term average of 100.
