In November 2023, the flash estimate of the consumer confidence indicator picked up by 1.1 percentage points (pps.) in the EU and 0.9 pps. in the euro area. At ‑17.5 (EU) and ‑16.9 (euro area) pps., consumer confidence still scores well below its long-term average.
