Production in industry in real terms (price adjusted) was up 1.3% in September 2025 month on month after seasonal and calendar adjustment, according to provisional data provided by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
After revision of the provisional results, production decreased by 3.7% in August 2025 compared with July 2025 (provisional figure: -4.3%).

Compared with September 2024, production was down 1.0% in September 2025 after adjustment for calendar effects.
