Euro Area International Trade In Goods Deficit was €11.7 Billion in November 2022

The first estimate for euro area exports of goods to the rest of the world in November 2022 was €264.7 billion, an increase of 17.2% compared with November 2021 (€225.9 billion). Imports from the rest of the world stood at €276.3 billion, a rise of 20.2% compared with November 2021 (€229.8 billion). As a result, the euro area recorded a €11.7 billion deficit in trade in goods with the rest of the world in November 2022, compared with a deficit of €3.9 billion in November 2021. Intra-euro area trade rose to €241.5 billion in November 2022, up by 16.8% compared with November 2021. The euro area recorded a deficit of €305.1 bn, compared with a surplus of €125.0 billion in January-November 2021. Intra-euro area trade rose to €2506.7 billion in January-November 2022, up by 25.5% compared with January-November 2021.
