Consumer Price Index in the US Increased by 0.2% in February 2025

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.2 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in February, after rising 0.5 percent in January, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all-items index increased 2.8 percent before seasonal adjustment. The index for all items less food and energy rose 0.2 percent in February, following a 0.4-percent increase in January.
