Foreign Trade Expectation Survey of 3rd Quarter of 2023
Export and Import Expectation Indices realized for the 3rd quarter of 2023.
10 July 2023 - Foreign Trade Expectation Survey (FTES) reflects assessments of Turkish leading foreign trade firms regarding recent and current situations along with their future expectations. Particularly, it helps to produce indices that can be stated as leading indicators.
According to the Survey conducted between the dates of 31 May-16 June 2023,
Export Expectation Index realized as 109.5 in the 3rd quarter of 2023.
Import Expectation Index realized as 105.3 in the 3rd quarter of 2023.

FTEI* = 100: A stable outlook to the foreign trade by the leading firms covered by the Foreign Trade Expectation Survey.
FTEI > 100: A positive outlook to the foreign trade by the leading firms covered by the Foreign Trade Expectation Survey.
FTEI < 100: A negative outlook to the foreign trade by the leading firms covered by the Foreign Trade Expectation Survey.
