Deputy Minister of Trade

Fatih Metin was born in Bolu City of Turkey on 14 October 1973. 

He was graduated from the Faculty of Law, Dokuz Eylül University. 

After the graduation, he worked as freelance lawyer. He assumed a Board Member post of Boluspor Football Club. In 2015, he was elected as Representative of Turkish Football Federation.

Mr. Metin served as the founding member of Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Administrative Board of Bolu City at 2001-2003, AK Party Bolu Provincial Chairman during 2003-2007 period, and he was elected as a Member of Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) from AK Party representing Bolu City at 2007 and carried the title until 2011.

He held the Secretary Membership post at Council of Chairmanship of TBMM between 2009 and 2011, and entitled to Deputy Minister of Customs and Trade between 2011 and 2015 and was elected as the Member of Disciplinary Board during the Fifth Congress of AK Party held in September, 2015.

Finally, Mr. Metin was assigned to Deputy Minister of Economy on 29 December 2015. 
He is married with four children.
